Inventory #210824-02.
Numista-16940, Sheldon-187. Second hairstyle subtype.
This coin is well worn, and has a few minor rim bumps consistent with this low grade level, but not much major porosity, corrosion, or pitting to speak of. The surfaces seem pretty smooth and nearly all of the legends are readable. For an inexpensive, low-grade example, this one seems pretty nice.
Something like this must surely be one of the most affordable early US coins from the 1700s you could hope to buy, I think. As of this writing (23 August, 2021), a G4 example trends $180.00 USD per Numismedia. This particular piece falls short of the G4 grade, obviously- I'd call it Fair (FR02, nearly AG03), personally.
