Manuel Mariano Melgarejo Valencia (13 April 1820 – 23 November 1871)
Melgarejo was born on April 13, 1820 in the Department of Cochabamba, being the illegitimate son of a Spanish-Bolivian and a Quechua Indian.
is a Bolivian soldier and chief of state. He was, as president and dictator, at the head of Bolivia from December 28, 1864 to January 15, 1871.
Manuel Mariano Melgarejo Valencia, dit Mariano Melgarejo (13 avril 1820, Tarata — 23 novembre 1871, Lima) est un militaire et chef d'État bolivien. Il fut, comme président et dictateur, à la tête de la Bolivie du 28 décembre 1864 au 15 janvier 1871.
